Super hospitality

We (3 couples) went for an extended weekend stay at Om Beach resort (Jungle Lodges). We had never expected it to be such an awesome stay. The rooms are big and clean. Bathroom is very big. Awesome swimming pool. Home like food - not very oily and spicy (though the menu is very limited). Mr. Jayprakash (manager) is a wonderful person and was always available for any support. He guided us on the itinerary and was very helpful. On our special request, he arranged yummiest onion pakaoras near the pool for evening snacks. The only thing which we did not like there was "tea" and "wifi connectivity"! Somehow, they could not make nice tea and rooms had no network, which is otherwise a good thing to stay away from technology on a vacay. Everything else was super, Highly recommended.

Great staff, very nice resort

We visited Gokarna between 12-15 Dec 2017. Right from the beginning, the experience with Jungle Lodges was great (even the booking staff in Bangalore office helped in arranging for postponement & extension of our stay). Mr. Jayaprakash, the manager at Om Beach Resort takes personal interest in the comfort of the guests. He has called us on the day of arrival to confirm the visit & time, food preference etc. Even during our stay, he used to enquire with us and ensure our comfort. Even the other staff were all helpful and made sure we had a great stay. The resort had a package of sightseeing included for 5 or more guests, but we were extended that courtesy even though we were only 4 (2 adults & 2 kids). This helped us immensely and we visited Yana, Mirjan Fort, Kudle Beach, Gokarna Beach, Om Beach, Tadadi port etc. The food was another delight and it was very tasty. The staff used to ask the guests their preference & prepare some extra dishes like fish which were not part of the regular menu of the day. Since JLR tariff includes all 3 meals, this was extremely convenient. The resort is very quiet and peaceful. Since our visit was during the weekdays and not in the holiday season, there were only 2-3 other rooms which were occupied. The rooms are big and comfortable even though they are not the most modern in terms of amenities. The rooms were quite clean and well maintained. Gokarna is a great place to relax and unwind and the beaches are pretty clean and relatively safe to swim. All in all, we had a great time and looks forward to visit it again in future.

Very good place to stay

Reception service was very good. Mr. Somanna explained the tour programme nicely. The food : Lunch, evening snacks coffee, Dinner and next morning Breakfast was very good. Cook Maruti had taken care of all veg members in group. food was very good. For non veg. Fish fry was excellent. Ganesh and Raju were very attentive and polite. Tour driver Suresh had taken good care of senior ladies. Good driver.

Beach well maintained

Place to go with your friend or family. If not just for an explore this place. There''s a temple nearby which is famous for its history. Clean beach well maintained by whomsoever it is concerned. Happy staying.
