The Old Magazine House is a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and connect with nature. Surrounded by dense forest. But more than just observing. For the best experience, we recommend visiting Ganesh Gudi between October and March when the resident bird community is joined by migrants. If you re looking for adventure, come between November and June when whitewater rafting is in season. During the monsoon season (June to September), the forest is lush and verdant, while between April and June, the weather is warm and dry.

JLR Old Magazine House nestled amidst deep in the jungles of Western Ghats is an amazing place to take away all the stress from the hustle and bustle of the maddening city life. A must visit place for nature lovers and bird watchers where one can also find a wide variety of flora and fauna.

Hospitality at its best

I went there for birding and I was very guided and advised about the birds and the time to sigh these birds. Management is very cooperative and their hospitality is at its best. I am definitely willing to go again
