A great experience!

We stayed as a family of 12 in the six tents along the river for two nights and loved every minute. The tents were comfortable, quit large and had everything you need including a dressing are and big bathroom faith shower and plentiful hot water. Outside you can sit and enjoy the view of the river from your own raised terrace. There is a good play area for children and a pleasant reception area inside with excellent wi fi reception and ping pong table. The food was excellent and the staff particularly nice and helpful. On the Caracle rides we all saw enormous crocodiles up quite close which was exciting. You seemed to be able to take a guided walk at your own convenience ( and watch crocs fighting!). We didn’t catch sight of much wildlife on the morning safari but it was lovely to watch dawn rise in the jungle and we stopped for some spectacular views. We had made a two week trip across southern India with family ranging from 77 down to 13 years old and this rated as our favourite place to stay.

Best jungle so far

If you are lucky you will be able to see black panther . The only place where u can see black panther in india. Besides it is tiger forest reserve. Kali nadi is very clean at one point of river there are too many crocodiles.You can also do water sports like river rafting, kayaking etc.

Nature camp on the bank of river Kali

The camp is located on the Dandeli outskirts with river Kali flowing next to it. So, it is not situated deep inside the jungle like some of the resorts in Ganeshgudi are. But, the camp itself is well maintained with well managed river rafting,coracle ride and jeep safari activites. The food is good with a variety of dishes. You get to see crocs during coracle ride. The jungle safari is refreshing. However, the forest being dense, animal sighting is rare. You are almost sure to see Malabal pied hornbill, langur, peacock, deer. Rest is all luck, I guess.

Amazing trip

Great place to spend with family and friends.. great food and lots of activities around. The adventure camp is like a 5 star resort and never felt that it''s under government management.. will visit again
