Enjoyed a lot

Well, We (Family) stayed in PlantationTrails from 27-29th May 2019. We had an year old kid with us and were really worried about her food as this was the first time we were taking her out. Chirag from Trailroot suggested us this place. This was a risk which we took and moved on with our journey.
To my surprise, Host called me a day in advance and provided me a detailed route and google maps link. And it was spot on. We reached Plantation Trails homestay around 01:30PM on 27th. We were received well by the host and his team. One more thing we had in mind was we needed an extra bed and we had not informed them in advance. But the room allocated had extra bed and sufficient place for our baby to sleep and play. I too had the luxury to sleep well on separate cot with mattress. Our baby was very happy seeing the location. Room was clean and tidy. They provided us with well maintained and clean towels, soaps and tooth paste. Each bathroom has gas geyser fitted so hot water is regularly available.

Food : This was what we thought as a challenge specially for our baby. However, food was so good that we did not face any issues. We did not have to prepare anything extra for the baby as she had whatever was available and stomach full. It was tasty, fresh and great. Cook is really good. We were served delicacies like Shavige (sweet) with coconut milk. Coorg style Kadubu or Kadambuttu which was really tasty. Hot chapatis, great sambar and spicy rasam made us feel very comfortable and homely. Im not sure of Non-veg food as Im a vegetarian. Im sure since location is in coorg, non-veg will definitely be tasty. Akki Roti and Dosa were amazing. Veg food in Coorg tasting so well was a surprise for me. Evening coffee/tea and snacks like bajji is available.

Location : it was a nice location with coffee estate all round you. However we wanted to relax and did not move around much. Its really a nice place, you can travel to nice locations like Jain temple [non-functioning] (4Kms) from estate. Other places are little far ranging from 25-30 kms. Its really good place for people in groups as well as family. You can trek around the estate and host or his team will take you around if you wish to. He also has some birds like Emu, Peacock, Hens etc.... There is turtle as well. House surrounded by garden with good variety of flowers. You have small man made pond with ducks and fishes. For nature lover this is a paradise.

Games : There are variety of games and activities. You can play cricket, shuttle. They also have archery and shooting. Tried my hands on both it was really nice.

Host :Host is a very generous man. He has a good team members. Mr Ranjan and Darshan. They both helped us specially with food for baby. My wife, kid and myself were present. Only one of us could eat at a time as we one of us had to manage the baby. Both Ranjan and Darshar we so patient in serving us. They made sure they served us food in proper quantity there by making sure we eat well and no food is wasted as well. They also washed our babys vessel voluntarily. There is no time limit here for dinner and Mr Vittal is very co-operative with it. He knows the mindset of people who wish to party. Unlike other homestays, they do not force us to finish off the dinner soon. All of them are polite. We had good conversation with Mr Vittal, Ranjan and Darshan. They were really happy to host us.
There is also Fire camp available during party with nice cement benches. There is also a place only to party and food will be supplied there.
Thank you Chirag for suggesting my place. Thank you Mr Vittal, Ranjan and Darshan for being so good and genuine. Will visit with friends once again whenever possible. Best part about stay was our baby enjoyed a lot. She still isnt walking if she had, then it would have been amazing for all of us.

Best homestay

This is the best homestay you can ever get in Coorg. This will be my regular hangout going forward. Amazing host and his team is fantastic. Cheers, Chetan

Finest day we had in Plantation Trails. Ambience, Food, Cleanliness 5Star. Vittal and his Staff are very professional and know how to take care of Guests Definitely would recommend family outing.

Host and made our stay very comfortable

First of all I thank Trailroot for suggesting us Plantation Trails. Host was a perfect and made our stay very comfortable. The resort is in natures wonderful scenery. The nearby spots of bislecghat, basveshwara temple, pushpagiri, malhalli falls was best places we visited. I would rate 5 stars for hospitality, delicious food and cleanliness for Henchinamanne. Excellent team of Vittal Sir and his boys.
