It was totally blown away by its beauty.

Plantation Trail is one of the most relaxing places I have ever experienced in Coorg till date. The property is surrounded by lush green farm and forest. There is a natural pond amidst the property which is relaxing with a hammock and stone benches. This place is great for bird watchers. You can easily spot kingfisher, Asian green bee eaters, sparrows, doves, and other variety of birds. Mr. Vittal is the owner of the property; he says the property is more than 100 years old! He has retained several items which were used by his ancestors for display. He has ensured to preserve the beauty and heritage of this place. He is one of the humblest persons I have met in recent times. He made sure we spend our stay with utmost comfort and suggested sight-seeing places as per your taste. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Do not expect luxurious rooms, they are clean and tidy, rustic and give you a feel of being connected with nature. The food was delicious with special mention to Rasam (the best I have had till date). You can just keep sipping it again and again. Dosa and akki rotti were equally delicious. They serve you different varieties, though we were veg and non-veg group of 3 people they ensured everything is served at its best. The food is very simple yet tasty. The host even offered us to provide packed food if we are going on full day sight-seeing. We had planned for a 2 night stay and could not cover many places due to rain. The day we checked in we visited Honnammanakere which is 7km drive from the homestay. It is calm devoid of people and a scenic beauty. Next morning, we visited Malhalli waterfalls (an amazing falls) which is an hour drive from the homestay, this place had many tourists due to heavy rain could not spend much time. Around 3 pm we visited Gavi betta despite the rain. I was skeptical in the beginning and had thoughts of cancelling this place due to rain and the google review did not amaze me. After visiting this place I was totally blown away by its beauty. Google definitely did not do justice to this place. This is a must visit place. The Jeep ride to Gavi Betta was the most amazing experience I have had in Coorg. If you get to see the sun set consider yourself luckiest one. It was a full paisa wasool experience.

Great ambiance, delicious food ...

Great ambiance. Delicious food and great place to relax with family or friends. Very good place and feel like you are staying with nature.

Location and the food was excellent

The location and the food was excellent . The rooms were also good. Mr.Vittal is very friendly and a Great Host . Recommend this place for families .

Host was excellent owner of the resort. Hospitality was awesome. Food is simply superb. Everything is wonderful.
